Vandalism and graffiti have historically been issues along the Esplanade, particularly within the parks. However, through our collaborative efforts with Medway Council, we’ve developed an effective system to report, track, and address these occurrences. Thanks to these interventions, graffiti is now a pretty rare sight, and the Esplanade has become a more welcoming space for everyone.
Our Approach
FoRCE has taken a proactive stance against anti-social behaviour. Key steps include:
- Partnership with Medway Council: We’ve built a strong working relationship with the council to ensure incidents of vandalism and graffiti are swiftly dealt with
- Site Monitoring: A dedicated FoRCE Helper regularly walks the site, photographing and reporting any new instances of graffiti or vandalism
- Community Involvement: We encourage all visitors to keep an eye out and report any issues they notice. By working together, we can maintain the Esplanade as a safe and enjoyable place

How You Can Help
